Zarek Simonson
Zarek Simonson was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Always a person with many interests, he followed his
multiple passions. With a background in psychology with an emphasis on early childhood development and an Associates Degree in Fashion Design from Los Angels' Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, he has always been drawn to concepts of identity and aesthetics.
With the skills acquired from his education, Zarek worked as a graphic designer for an LA based startup marketing firm. Working alongside the founder and CEO at Golden Alpha Inc., he was the second employee hired. His role was more than just graphic design but also entailed brand development, themes and concepts for trade shows, as well as oversea
production for point of sale materials and promotional merchandise for the firm's clients.

After working in the industry for two years, Zarek decided to further his education and attend The David Nazerian School of Business and Economics at California State University-Northridge. He majored in Business Marketing and while there met a group of students who wanted to create a new concept for a gym. Though he had no previous experience in the fitness industry, his passion and strengths lied in creating brands. It was there that the team developed Levels Fitness.
Zarek currently works at Levels Fitness in brand development as well as media content for web and print and currently resides in West Hollywood, California with his roommate and their dog Frijolito.
